3rd grade... Getting so big! Halle is in Mrs. Tedder's room this year and so far loves it!! She came home the first day and said she was "Boy Trapped".... I was afraid to ask what that meant but it meant she was sitting between 2 boys, John Patrick and Elian. :) Not sure how disappointed she was about that but it was funny! We are looking forward to a good year! Next year I will have a 4th grader and a kindergartner!! :( Oh my... that's gonna hurt!! Syd missed the cut off this year with an October birthday... She's so smart though she may get to skip right on to 1st grade! ;)

So we waited on Halle to get out of school and took off... before she changed her mind! ;) She LOVES her new earrings and can't wait to change them out like Halle! She has showed everyone! I'm so glad she finally decided to get them pierced and so is she!!!

I took all 4 girls to Kyndall's birthday party all by myself.... I was either brave or crazy... LOL No really they all love the water and were all soooo good at the party! It is getting easier and easier to do things with them and not NEED help... Help is always welcome and appreciated but I'm glad they are getting bigger and easier! :)

We were so excited that Dr. Sotomora gave us good news this visit... Carlee's 3rd and final hole in her heart has closed up!!! No more yearly trips to Baptist for ECHOS or trips to see Dr. Sotomora. She had her 5th and final ECHO last Friday.... We love Dr. Sotomora but soooo glad we don't have to see him anymore!

Carlee and Kalee At 2 Yr Check Up

So this post is little late but here goes....
Carlee weight 30 lbs 80% length 34 1/2 70 %
Kalee weight 29 lbs 75 % length 33 1/2 45%
They are both growing great and Dr Green is happy with their growth!
They are not picky eaters and eat just about anything you give them. Chicken and french fries is probably their favorite meal. They like watermelon but I don't know if they just ate too much the first time they ate it or what but it didn't settle well on their little tummies..... so no more watermelon!!
They are now wearing pull ups and the potty training is going ok.... some days are better than others but I'm happy with the progress they are making! Halle and Syd were potty trained at 2 1/2 so I still have a little bit with them but so ready for no more diapers.... we've been changing diapers for nearly 8 years straight with little time in between babies!
Carlee and Kalee are talking more and more.... Carlee calls Kalee "K" and Kalee calls Carlee "baby" so cute and funny! They are with each other non stop and which ever one wakes up first she will ask for the other one immediately.
They still sleep GREAT... sleeping from around 9 til 7 with 1 afternoon nap. We stick to a pretty good routine.
They like to play with baby dolls these days and anything else the other one has.... LOL! Kalee is still my little bully but Carlee holds her own too! Kalee bites if she doesn't get her way .... hoping she gets out of that soon!! Poor Syd and Carlee receive the brunt of this... For some reason she doesn't bite Halle! She bites Syd when Syd is picking at her and Carlee when she wants something Carlee has.... Guess she is smart and knows not to mess with Halle! :)
They LOVE anything outside... water , toys, swing set, trampoline, you name it , if it is outside they like it!
They dislike LOUD noises.... we've been having jets fly over our house and it just scares them to death... Every time we go outside lately I have to tell them the jets are not coming so they will step out the door... poor babies! They have been flying low and it is LOUD... kind of scares me too! :)

Diamond Elite Tourney- Hot Springs

Diamond Elite consists of 3 girls from Dierks... Halle, Delaney, and Breanna, 6 girls from Murf, and 1 girl from Kirby

We had a great time this tourney.... The girls beat all the 8 and Under teams in the tourney... A couple 10 and Under teams were thrown in with the 8 and Unders so they beat us... We ended up placing 3rd in the tourney! Go Diamond Elite.... The girls flipped a coin to decide on the red shorts and socks... Guess who lost?! Ha.... the girls were all so nice and played really well together.... A bond has formed.... I must say it is much better playing with them than against them! :)

We enjoyed our 4th with 2 family reunions and a birthday party.... Thankfully all events were close together and we made all 3! We had a great day and all the girls enjoyed the fireworks this year! Carlee and Kalee were so tired at the end that they fell asleep! Halle and Syd enjoyed spending the day with family and friends... We are so blessed to have many!!

1 week in Florida.... UHAUL must have!! Departure 5:00 Saturday evening

Arrival 11:00 Sunday morining.... They were so ready to get OUT after all night in car!! Carlee and Kalee laughed and giggled the first 20 minutes... It took them a minute to figure out their footing with the waves coming in... Syd and Halle were on a mission to find shells.

Basketball Camp 2010

Halle and her team won the 3 on 3 at basketball camp. Delaney and Kesha , 2 4th graders, were on her team. They tied with another team for number of wins and loses for the week so they shot free throws to determine the winners. Halle was very proud of her trophy.
She did well in the other catergories too... She made 6 of 10 free throws 2 different days.
This was a very hectic week because Nana and Papaw were out of town so we were very thankful for everyone that helped us out.... Pa helped us out a couple of days taking Halle to camp and then letting her stay at work with him afterwards... She earned $5, Papa Rick and Mamaw for watching Syd, Carlee and Kalee.... They even did my laundry! :)
Blessed to have so many willing to help us out!!

League Season.... 10 Wins 5 Loses

Unfortunately Halle and the Sweet Sluggers lost their last league game last week. They played the Chili Peppers which has several of Halle's friends on it from her gymnastics class. Halle played a good game and we were very proud of the Sweet Sluggers record 10 wins and 5 loses... Not bad for this being most of our players first year to play 8 and Under!! We are already looking to playing Fall ball!

Let The Swimming Begin

The girls had so much fun swimming Sunday afternoon! They are all little fish. Next trip we are going to see if Syd remembers her swimming lessons from last year. ;) Looking forward to a great wonderful summer at the lake, pool, and a week in Florida! So far the oil has stayed clear of the beach we are heading too!! :)

The Principal's Award for all A's all year, The Super Reader Award for passing over 50 book tests, The Spelling Award 100%, The Social Studies Award 100%, The Math Award 99%, Battle of the Books , Health Fitness Award, National Physical Fitness Award, and Excellence in Fitness Award!

We are so proud of her!! Not only is she smart but obviously she is athletic and physically fit! :) Her daddy told her if she would have made 1 more point in math she could have had this award all to herself.... she tied with her friends, Maddie, Maddi, and Kennedy! :)

She is excited for summer and looking forward to the 3rd grade!!

2nd Place Nashville Tourney

12:30 at night.... Tired girls after 6 games and starting the day at 9 that morning!!

They were proud of their 2nd place trophy... BUT Halle said 1st would have been better! :)

After a BIG win that put us in the finals!

Carlee and Kalee were exhausted after a LONG day of softball!! Syd went home earlier in the day with Jeremy to play with Landen and Kinleigh... They went swimming so she was far happier playing than with us!! Carlee and Kalee were troopers though... They were good all day!

Halle played her little heart out at the tourney!! All the coaches of the other teams were bragging on her saying she was a good little first baseman!! Of course we have always thought that but it makes you feel good hearing someone else brag on your kid!

She got a chance to reedem herself from the very first game where she struck out with a runner on third..... This time she hit the ball and scored the run to win the game!! Her daddy told her right before she hit.... "OK Halle it is like this... you hit the ball we win!" NO pressure there DAD!! LOL

She did play well in the field catching the ball at 1st getting the out then running home to get an out with the runner trying to score!! It's no wonder she knows the game so well.... That is all she and her daddy discuss these days!!

We were all soooo proud of the Sweet Sluggers.... This was our League team placing 2nd in this tourney and not our Tourney Team!! Just wish we could win a tourney... this now makes 2 2nd place finishes! We are playing in Dino Fest this weekend with our tourney team so hopefully we do well....

Carlee enjoying it too! Most Saturdays Nana makes us chocolate gravy. All the girls love it! Carlee and Kalee make quite the mess with it so I typically strip them down to eat it! It is much easier than trying to get chocolate out of their clothes. :)

Softball Meets Mouth

The other night Syd was playing catch with one of her great-aunts and the ball took a bad bounce and met with her mouth instead of the glove! She cried for a few minutes until I went to get her a popsickle and then she was all better....

Of course the first thing I did was to check to make sure her teeth were all nice and tight!! Once I knew all was fine with her teeth I didn't think much more about it. The next afternoon her lip was still swollen and I caught a glimpse inside. I told her to come let me see so I lifted her lip to find this..... Oh my... She couldn't stop looking at it! LOL After I assurred her that it was not blood but just a bruise she was better! It looks better today but still swollen.

Halle now owns a facemask to wear in the field and we are sticking with soft softballs for Syd so hopefully no more accidents like this!

Lots Of Helpers

So I guess you all are getting the point that our life revolves around softball these days.... We always have lots of little helpers around to entertain Carlee and Kalee! The big girls were doing so good taking turns with who got to pull the wagon.
Carlee and Kalee love it outside so they have been enjoying lots of time outside these past few days. They are talking more and more and have become quite verbal with what they want when they want it!! Kalee still rules the roost.... She never takes the first cup, bowl, cracker, cookie, food or anything. Not sure why she does this but if I try to give her something first she shakes her head and says, NO and points to Carlee. Now I know you are thinking, well she is being nice... but you must see her in action.... She is being stubborn!!! I tested her the other day and when she turned down the first cup I sat it back on the bar and thought well she will take the 2nd one but really it was the same cup I had already tried to give her... And yeap you guessed it she would not take it!! STUBBORN and smart... thinking that may be a bad combo!! :)
Kalee is also liking picking my flowers... I must watch her closely or before I know it she has picked every single bloom from one pot....
Carlee is becoming more aggressive and is not letting Kalee run all over her anymore but most of the time she is content to give Kalee what she wants and just move on... Sweet girl!
Hard to believe that next month I will have 2 yr olds!! Pretty sure terrible two's have already hit though!! Right now we must watch these 2 at all times!
Soooo looking forward to getting them potty trained.... Right now they have started realizing when they are dirty and not liking it and wanting their diaper changed so I'm thinking or hoping it won't be much longer!!! ;) If anyone would like to volunteer potty training them, I'm taking applications! :)

She did hit it... Syd had fun playing softball this year. Her last game was Friday so our life has become a little less hectic! We managed to fit in her game before the storm hit!

Tornado Warning!!!

Thankfully I did not take this photo.... I have seen one tornado in my lifetime and that was one too many!!! Not sure exactly where in town this photo was taken but is suppose to be the tornado that hit Dierks.... Scary sight!!

Laundry mat in town destroyed.... This pic shows how lucky the town was.... For those of you who don't know this building is right on main street.... houses all around and fortunately this is what the tornado destroyed!!! Yes trees are down and some shingles are missing but this is truly the Hand of God protecting our little town!!!!

Some storage buildings were also destroyed but my pic wasn't very good... It lifted the buildings up and threw them up against some other storage buildings. What was strange was that the stuff that was inside the destroyed buildings was still sitting in same spot untouched.... very strange to see!

And yes this is what we were doing when the storm hit..... We were actually in Dequeen. We were playing, no lightning, no rain, no real wind to speak of, thunder off in the distance, and the next thing we know tornado sirens were going off!!! Now let me tell you on a softball field with several 8 and Under softball girls is not where you want to be when sirens are going off!!! I started yelling at Jeffrey because obviously he was really into the game and couldn't hear the sirens to get the girls off the field! Well when poor Syd heard me say tornado sirens she FREAKED OUT!!! Poor baby is still afraid ever since the tornado got close to our house last year!! I consoled her as best I could as I rounded up Carlee and Kalee, got Halle and Jeffrey off the field with most of our stuff. At that point I wasn't too concerned with chairs or Halle's equipment!! Thankfully there was a building close by where most of us huddled until the storm passed! It was a long 45 minutes or so waiting trying to comfort my kids and other little girls who were all crying along with mine!! Once the storm passed Dequeen we still couldn't head home because the storm was headed for Dierks. We stopped to get the girls something to eat to pass time.

It was a long night to say the least.... Another storm was forming once we got home so we ended up in our safe room with my dad and B before the night was over. Once the storms passed I finally convinced Halle it was over and she went to sleep on the couch beside me. Sydney finally went to sleep clinging to my arm in our bed around 11:30. She kept saying, Are you sure it is gone?" Poor thing.... Carlee and Kalee could sense something was wrong too but they feel asleep pretty quick!!

Someone please tell me spring is almost over!! :)

2nd Place- Murf Tournament

Syd was being a well you know and would not look at me.... Carlee and Kalee did so well all day!! It was a long day! Thankfully we were able to go to Gran and Papa Rick's for lunch and they napped before Halle played her 2nd game.

Some of the girls on the tournament team.... We combined our league teams to make 1 tournament team. The girls did so well for their first tournament and really for the first time to ever play together as a team.

The Lady Sluggers as they like to call themselves... combo between Lady Outlaws and Sweet Sluggers.. won their first game 13 to 12. Then they lost their 2nd game to the team that eventually won the tournament 15 to 8. We were winnning our 3rd game when it started storming pretty good so the game was called. Since we had beat the team we were playing earlier in the day and one team hadn't been beaten all day, it was decided that we won 2nd place! The girls won a big trophy and each girl will get medals! Due to the storm we didn't take pictures yet so those are to come.... It was a fun day! Halle played well in the field and hit every time she got up to bat and went on to score every time!! Jeffrey is really getting into this softball too... He is already talking fall ball!!!

Carlee and Kalee have been joys and terrors at the ball park! LOL It takes us all plus some to keep up with them and keep them off the field, but oh what fun we are having! ;) Their shirts say Peace, Love, and Softball.... too cute! Sweet girls will definately know how to play the game when they are big enough!! Wow I'm tired just thinking about all 4 of them playing.... How will we ever keep up?!!?
Funny Story that I must tell you all as well.......
So if you know us and the girls at all you know that Carlee has a freckle on her back and for those who can't tell the girls apart this is how they tell.... Carlee has the freckle on her back, Kalee does not. So on a regular basis someone will lift up Carlee's shirt and say, "Yeap , you're Carlee."
Well the other morning Nana called Carlee Kalee. She quickly realized she called her by her wrong name and said, "No you're not Kalee, you're Carlee." Carlee , smart girl, turned her back to Nana and lifted up her shirt! Sweet girl knows already that she is the "marked one" Too funny!!

Razorback Baseball

Last weekend Jeffrey, Brandon, and I took Halle and Syd to watch the HOGS play baseball. They swept the series playing Georgia!!! We enjoyed Saturdays game.

It started raining toward the end but it didn't seem to bother the girls! Halle was really into the game, and Syd did better than I expected her to do.

We took the girls to the stadium and watched the HOGS scrimmage for a little bit. Halle looked for Ryan Mallet the entire time but we could never spot him.

We made a flying trip up there leaving after Halle and Syd's softball games Friday night. We arrived in Fayetteville about 1:30 AM and left Fayetteville Saturday afternoon after the game. The girls had a blast and much thanks to Gran and Papa Rick for keeping Carlee and Kalee!!

Sweet Sluggers 2010

Halle's team.... Sweet Sluggers.... 8 & Under Pitching Machine League..... We have hit the big time playing 15 games this year and possibly more if we play tournaments!

Halle up to bat..... This was there 2nd game against DQ Divas... Sweet Sluggers won 10-8!! Halle scored 1 run.... She got thrown out at 3rd trying to steal.... The catcher was their best player!!

Halle was proud of their win!!! They had lost their first game against the other Outlaw team... 5-4! Halle was really disappointed!!! Sweet Sluggers had the last bat and had a runner on 3rd with 2 outs and Halle came up to bat.... I was really nervous!!!! She hit the ball to 2nd and got thrown out at 1st! It was a good game but I hated that Halle was the last out!! Oh well it was a good learning experience for her... :)

Down and ready for the ball...... She is doing good stopping most balls that come her way and is getting the hang of throwing it to first once she stops the ball.

She is a good hitter.... We play where the coach pitches to the players.... If they do not hit the ball after 4 pitches on the 5th pitch they can hit it off the tee. Last Friday Jeffrey told Syd on the 4th pitch that she better hit it because she wasn't hitting off the tee........ So she hit it! ;) It's tough being the coach's kid!! LOL

Dying Easter Eggs

Halle and Sydney dyed Easter Eggs Saturday night.... We, or rather I, just can't get up and around early enough on Sunday to dye them on Sunday morning which Jeffrey would prefer because he likes to eat them! ;) But don't worry his mom dyes them for him on Sunday.... ;)

I think Halle and Syd broke/cracked more eggs than they didn't and when they finished my floor and bar was a nice shade of tie dyed! ;) Good thing it all cleans up well!!!! They enjoyed themselves.... I let them do them all by themselves this year! I had to make one egg that said CM hearts JM... LOL So then Halle had to make one that said HM hearts AS.... boyfriend of choice these days.... ;) Jeffrey just cringes and goes on....

First Camping Trip Of The Year

Syd Can Tie Her Shoes

Syd went to church Wednesday to learn Bible stories and she came home knowing how to tie her shoes!!!! ;) Really every 5th Wednesday we sing and have a devo and the kids don't have class... the twins have a book that they play with and one of the pages has strings like a shoe. Syd learned how to tie her shoe on a book! LOL She was so excited!! She has requested these shoes ever since so she can tie them herself. She couldn't wait to get to gymnastics to show her teacher... not her awesome round offs but how well she could tie her shoe!! :) Thanks Nana for teaching her.... I am truly amazed Syd had the patience to learn this already.... guess it helped she was sitting in church and had to sit there and be quiet! ;)

Halle's Music Project

Every year Halle's music teacher likes for the kids to bring a music project to school. She normally takes a cd and just sings but this year she got creative. Halle and her dad made these drums. Very cute.... she also took her Taylor Swift cd and sang. She said her drums were a big hit!!

A couple of weeks ago I was sick with head congestion, fever, chills, terrible cough.... which was why I didn't post for some time. I was down for a few days and it took me days to recover from being sick and catching up on household chores!! Anyway while I was sick my big girl Halle helped out. One night she got everyone ready for bed in these cute gowns! The babies have on Syd's! They loved the gowns and thought they were big!! LOL Halle also got Syd ready for church on Wednesday night of that week... picking out her clothes and fixing her hair. Now Syd wants Halle to do it all the time! :) Syd told Halle she was the best big sister..... We will see how long that lasts!! And I will remind her on that one day!!! ;)

Halle's New Bed

Halle upgraded to a full size bed a couple of weeks ago. Syd was very upset that Halle got a new bed and she did not.... Are y'all seeing the trend?! Yep.... It doesn't take much for Syd to be upset.... That Manasco coming out in her!! LOL

The bed is actually quite old but Halle loves it!! And yes Syd will have a full size bed before long!! Syd likes sleeping with Halle some now... Halle is not too fond of the idea but she lets her like a good big sister!! ;)

Mammaw Turns 78

Mammaw turned 78 March 4th. We celebrated her birthday last Friday at mom and Rick's. Halle had softball practice so her and Jeffrey were unable to make the celebration. Rick cooked some good fish and shrimp and they sent tons of leftovers home for Jeffrey and Halle to enjoy. Mammaw loved all her gifts and we all had a great time at the river!

Valentines 2010

The girls had a big Valentines Day. Halle received several balloons at school from her friends as well as from Jeffrey and me and Gran and Papa Rick. She also received a special gift from her Valentine at the time.... as of this posting she has already moved on to another boy! LOL Chandler was her Valentine and he got her a cute bear with candy and a little stuffed heart. This is the first year she has wanted to get a boy something for Valentines.... about killed her daddy!! She picked out a balloon a some candy for him. Most of her friends had Valentines this year... so cute!
She was so excited to get to school that day and was really worried the snow was going to keep them from going!! The one day she wanted to go to school with snow on the ground!! ;)

Syd was a little upset that Halle had more balloons than her since Halle had gotten some from her friends. She was better when I told her that soon enough she would be in school and she would get extra balloons too!! She loved the balloon and flower from her daddy and me and her balloon and candy from Gran and Papa Rick!!

Carlee and Kalee really enjoyed the balloons. They mainly enjoyed hitting one another with them!!:) Gran and Papa Rick sent them goodies too! They especially loved the cookies from them.

Jeffrey and I had a day at the races and dinner with friends to celebrate his birthday and Valentines this year!! Love days out with my hubby without the kiddos!!!

Snow February 2010

The girls enjoyed the snow last week. It snowed here yesterday too but they didn't even ask to go out.... I think they are over it already!! Sydney and Landen enjoyed building the snowman Friday. I thought it turned out great! Halle had to go to school so she missed out....

The trampoline was the biggest hit of all Thursday evening! Carlee and Kalee were slipping and sliding all over it. Sydney and Landen had gone on an adventure so by the time I went out with the camera that evening she had frozen out and gone inside! :)

Jeffrey also enjoyed playing in the snow too with his toy....
As for me I like summer better than winter..... ready for spring already!

No more jumps.... Which most of you know if you follow my blog is what the babies have napped in since they were big enough to go in them. I decided that they had finally outgrown them so today at nap time I layed them down on a blanket with some pillows and said ok time to go night night and that is what they did!!!! Good girls... And slept from 9:30 til 11:30!!

Tuesday night we celebrated Jeffrey/daddy's birthday with a fish fry. We had the party at Nana and Papaws. Gran, Papa Rick, Uncle Brandon, Pa , Bev, and Jeremy all came over to celebrate his birthday.

The girls made Jeffrey such sweet cards and this weekend Jeffrey and I are going out to celebrate his birthday with a day at the horse races and out to dinner with friends.

Syd was quite the camera hog that night.... I couldn't take a picture without her!! In the pic with Pa I told her to smile and she really didn't want to so I said smile and I will give you a dollar and that is what I got!! LOL She will do anything for a dollar these days.... I wanted her to show them all how she could write her first and last name and she didn't really want to so I said write it and I'll give you a dollar so she did!! I'm thinking I'm going to have to see if it will work with quarters!! ;)

And kids are so funny.... they have all these toys and they end up playing in a laundry basket!!!!

Syd's funny sayings continue.....

The Grammy's were on the other night and they kept saying Michael Jackson was going to sing.... Syd looked at me and said, "Mommy, how is he going to sing if he is dead??" Good question for a 4 year old but still funny!!! I explained that he was going to be on video singing that in fact yes he was still dead.

The other day one of the babies had on a shirt the said SASSY. Syd came up to me stomped her foot and said , "Why does the baby have on my shirt?" Yes SASSY does fit her but she meant because it started with S it was her shirt... S for Sydney. I said Syd now you know how to spell your name look again.... She did and was fine with it. LOL

And the best.... In Wal Mart with Nana. She thinks all clothes with a 4 on it will fit her because she is 4. Which she is right and does wear a 4T. So she was looking for all clothes with a 4 on them to fit her. She looked at Nana and said, "Nana what number are you?" Funny, I guess she thought Nana would wear her age..... To which Nana explained No!!! LOL

This morning I got out of the shower to find Kalee up playing and daddy still in the bed!! She was enjoying herself being a good girl in the toy room... They love this new instrument that is really Halle's but I think they have blown on it more than her.... dollar store special!!

Snow Day

Friday even though school didn't let out until 1 I let Halle skip all day. I wasn't sure what the weather was going to do and really didn't want to be driving on the roads if the weather moved in before it did so Jeffrey and I decided just to let her skip out all day.

When Halle woke up and it was daylight out she came running in the living room in quite the panic mode!!! She hates being late for school which to her is anything past 7:45!! She was very excited when I told her that she didn't have to go.

It didn't start snowing until about dark but Halle and Syd enjoyed playing most of the day inside. They made quite the fort which no babies were allowed in..... :/ Poor babies... Little did Halle and Syd know that when they left to go look at the ice on the trees around Newhope with Nana and PaPaw I let the babies play in it!! ;)

It was just the right amount of snow for the girls to throw a few snowballs and get froze out in about 10 minutes. Jeffrey went out with them and Syd told him that she had a surprise for him and promised it was a kiss and not a snowball!!! ;) Unfortunately for daddy he got hit with several snowballs and received no kisses!! LOL

The babies stayed inside because they still are feeling a little under the weather...

100TH Day Of School

100 toothbrushes.... for the 100th day of school

Halle took 100 toothbrushes for the 100th day of school. She was so excited to get to school to see what all her friends brought. They got to go to the nursing home to see a lady that was 100 years old and another one that was almost 100. Halle thought that was really cool!! She had a great day at school and enjoyed her 100th day of school!!

Sick Carlee

Carlee became sick Saturday night. She began to run a fever along with her cough and congestion. She was still running fever this morning so we decided she needed to make a trip to see Dr. Green. He said that she had what was going around and that all of them may possibly have it before it was over and that the cough would linger for 2 weeks!! Treatment consists of breathing treatments every 2 hours for first couple of days then we can cut back to every 4 hours, oral steroids twice a day for 5 days then once a day for 5 more days, and cough medicine, which she hates!!

She did so much better with the breathing treatment so far than I anticipated!! I first just let her touch and play with it and held it up to her mouth and nose before I turned the machine on. When I held it up to her mouth she said, "OU, OU!" Like it was going to hurt... so I thought oh this isn't going to be good. But once I turned it own she never made a sound or cried one tear!!! We will see if that lasts....

On another note of sickness Syd also decided she would get the stomach virus last night which lasted from about 9 til 2 in the morning. Thankfully she feels much better today!! Nana took good care of her since she was spending the night with her.... So thankful for Nana!!

Praying we have had our share of sickness for awhile!!

Sydney Reese is going through such a funny stage!! She has been saying some pretty cute things.... some of my favs: "Will you do me a favorite?"

Singing Amazing Grace last night... "I once was lost but now I'm found was blind from Tennessee."

She still can not tell Carlee and Kalee apart... the other day one of them bit her and she came running to me and said, "Mommy the black one bit me!" This because one had on a black outfit and the other had on a pink one.

Twin Sweetness

Carlee and Kalee love playing in the toy room. However it is rare that they get to because when Halle and Syd are home they take over and most of their toys the twins put in the mouths or try to break and such. So every chance they get, in the toy room they go.... So sweet..... They got all these dishes out and put on the table and then perched themselves in the chairs and were enjoying a "pretend" bed night snack! I just love watching them interact.... They are always together!! At bedtime Carlee and Kalee are daddy's girls!! I try to hold one and 9 times out of 10 she will get down and go to her daddy. So this is the position you will find them in every night about 9. Notice Kalee holding her daddy's hand.... Love them!!!

Halle Makes All A's

Report cards went out last week and once again our big girl made all A's. We are so proud of her!!! She is also reading 4th grade books so she thinks she should be able to just skip 3rd grade.... LOL!

18 Month Check Up

Carlee and Kalee turned 18 months in December. As you can tell from the pictures they did not enjoy the visit to the doctor. Literally they started crying as soon as we walked through the doors after Ms. Kay called our names. Poor babies had to get 2 shots that day.... one was a basic vaccine and the other was their 2nd H1N1 vaccine. They will only have to receive 1 more shot at age 2 then poor babies will be finished with all these vaccines until the age of 4.

Carlee weighed 26 lbs 2.5 ozs and was 31 inches. Kalee weighed 25 lbs 14.5 ozs and was 31 1/4 inches. Carlee was in the 85% weight and 35 % for length. Kalee was in the 75 % for weight and 40% for length. Close as always in their weight and length...

Dr. Green said that both girls looked healthy and were doing great.

Carlee and Kalee both have 12 teeth and love to brush them still. They were size 4 diapers... so ready for the potty training stage! They wear size 18-24 months clothes and some 2T. They love to eat and will eat whatever you feed them... we don't have picky eaters! They still have very few words in their vocab but are beginning to babble and jabber more and more..... a few are... Uh Oh ( the new one these days), momma, dadda, bite, bye bye, hello. They sure can communicate without saying much though! They come get your finger and take you to what they want.... beat on the refrigerator if they want a drink, beat on the pantry if they want food, move the bar stools around if they want to sit in their chairs to eat, pat a chair if they want you to sit down. So funny...

Carlee and Kalee can also climb in big chairs now and can climb up stairs with us behind them making sure they don't fall. They love to run and race. Halle and Syd really enjoy telling them to run fast and watching them. They have also started mocking Halle and Syd doing gymnastics. They will run and go put their head on the ground like they are about to turn a flip but they haven't flipped on over yet. This is so cute to watch!!

Carlee and Kalee have also started stacking blocks. I was watching one this week playing with a set of blocks where she starts with a big block then you place smaller blocks inside. The biggest block is number 5 then it goes down to 1. She had placed the third block in before the fourth and was trying to get the fourth one in. Once she realized it didn't go she took the third block out then put the fourth in and completed it down to 1. Anyway I hope you get the point..... very smart I think!! ;)

The sweetest thing Carlee and Kalee are doing is that they make the sound when you give them hugs like they are really squeezing you tight. You all know the sound.....
These are just a few things we enjoy on a daily basis!! So much fun...

Halle and Syd also went with us that day.... They got their 2nd H1N1 mist vaccine. So far so good no sickness this winter!!! Everyone knock on wood now!! :)

Pic Says It All.......

So this believe it or not got blamed on me.... Jeffrey is always complaining that I don't put the lids on anything, tight enough, screwed down enough, etc... Reason being when I'm home alone I want to be able to get the lids off of things!

My big girls like chocolate milk at night so we mix milk with Nesquik. This night Syd decides to help dad out and get the Nesquik out of the cabinet. For some reason she decided it needed a good 'ol shake....... And you guessed it, the lid wasn't on tight enough!!! Lucky for us we were about out and not very much ended up in the floor!

Liberty Bowl 2010

Jeffrey and I enjoyed the weekend in Memphis with several of our friends. The Hogs finally pulled out a win in overtime!! I promise you by the end of the game I wasn't sure if I had toes or a nose. Jeffrey agreed that it was the coldest he had ever been!!! I was so cold that at the end of the game I was hoping the ECU kicker would make it so the game wouldn't go into overtime.... I know that's terrible!!!

After the game we headed to Beale Street. We ate at the Flying Fish which was very good, I'm not a BBQ fan!! Afterwards we headed to Silkys which was a nice little piano bar.... LOL. They did have 2 pianos... We ran into a few Razorback players there. I had to have my picture made with our favorite player Tejada! ;) Poor guy was so nice..... good thing because he's not much of a kicker!!

Thanks to mom, Papa Rick, Nana, and Papaw for keeping the girls. Mom took the big girls to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese then to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks. Then she traded them off and took the babies that night so the big girls could go to church with Nana and Papaw Sunday. Thanks to all for keeping them so we could enjoy a nice weekend away!

On Monday my pappaw passed away at the age of 83. We were very fortunate to have been able to spend the day on his birthday with him on Christmas Eve. He loved his family and anyone that would listen to him he would tell them just how much he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. I will always cherish my many fond memories I have of him as a child growing up and wanting to spend as many nights as possible with mammaw and him. I could never understand why my parents would make me go home.
He loved my girls so much and I don't believe he missed many softball games that Halle played the past 2 years. My sweet Syd is named after him. He told me when she was first born that he couldn't remember Sydney but he would never forget her middle name Reese. Carlee and Kalee will not remember pappaw but he sure loved them too. Christmas Eve they couldn't give him high fives enough. He thought this was great and commented on how they just blistered his hand because they hit his hand so hard!! ;)

Christmas With Nana And PaPaw 2009

We celebrated Christmas with Nana and Papaw last Sunday. Once again the girls received tons of gifts. All of them received a Wii to stay at Nana's house since my girls are there so much. They always wanted us to carry ours back and forth so this makes it much easier.
Halle also got a camera, the doll she wanted, more Nintendo DS games, a purse with peace signs on it, and pixos to name a few.

Syd also received another doll, camera , Snowhite doll, and Nintendo DS games. She also got a TAG reader that is way cool. She will be reading in no time!! ;)

Carlee and Kalee each got new riding toys that they have already fallen off numerous times. They love cell phones and they each received a new one. They also got a reading thing that honestly I have not had time to get out of the box yet but am determined to do so soon!! Also they got bath toys that they have enjoyed so much.

Jeffrey and I received money. I also got another Scentsy that now makes 3 to my collection. If you don't have one these are a must have!!!

Once again this is just to list a few things. My girls are so fortunate to have a loving family!!

Christmas With Gran And Papa Rick 2009

We celebrated Christmas with Gran and Papa Rick last Saturday. The girls loved all their gifts. Carlee and Kalee finally got their big girl chairs like Halle and Syd that they love. Now they don't have to fight Halle and Syd for theirs. That day they sat in the chair that had their name on it everytime. It was so funny ...... we just know they can read! ;) They also got baby dolls that they have been carrying around everywhere.

Syd also got a new baby doll. She got several learning toys to learn to write her letters and numbers that she has been enjoying. She is really into playing doctor these days and got a new doctor kit and has been keeping us all healthy. :) Syd also got Nintendo DS games and movies. She also got a new game for the Wii.

Halle got a new cd player that she has been blasting in our ears with her new Carrie Underwood cd and Kris Allen cd. :) She also got Nintendo DS games, movies, and a game for the Wii. She also got creative things to do all her art projects she loves doing. Halle loves clothes from Justice and she loved her new jeans and sweater.

Uncle Brandon also brought his gifts for the girls. He always gets them all a Christmas bear each year. We are starting to have quite the collection!! Carlee and Kalee loved their toys and new pjs from him. Syd also got new pjs and she loved the Chickos that he picked out after she explained to him what they were and with a little help from me. ;) Halle loved her clothes from Justice and her new Gymnastics pillow case that he bought for Syd and her. He also got them Nintendo DS games that they have been playing non stop!!

I know I'm leaving out some things the girls received but you all get the point.... my girls are greatly spoiled and this was just one place we received gifts!! We barely had room to sit on the car ride home!!

Uncle Brandon loved his new print mom and Rick got him of the '94 Championship team as you can tell from the picture.

Jeffrey and I enjoyed our gifts as well..... wind chimes , perfume, cologne, a Razorback jacket, Nativitiy scene, and money.

Our Family Christmas 2009

Christmas morning the girls woke to a beautiful white Christmas. The house looked so pretty.... try not to look too close because I'm out in my pjs videoing the girls playing! ;) They found Santa had come and brought all the gifts they wanted and had even left them a note, which they thought was way cool! Halle got her dolled up nails, Syd her Dora kitchen, and Carlee and Kalee tricycles. He also left little things in their stockings. Panties as always.... Hope the twins get these next year!!!!!!!!!! Make-up, puzzles, books, nail polish and the favorite, electric toothbrushes! I truly know these girls are mine because they love to brush! ;)

They loved the gifts from mom and dad too. Nintendo DS games, DVDs, CDs, dolls, blocks, and Taylor Swift dolls just to name of few.

Jeffrey and I got each other tickets to the Liberty Bowl which includes a weekend with no children!!;) He also surprised me with an outdoor fireplace that I had been wanting... my sweet hubby!

The girls are always so thankful and are happy to get anything which always makes it nice! We had a great Christmas and feel really blessed this year!!

Carlee and Kalee's First Snow

Christmas Eve Halle got one of her gifts she asked Santa for..... SNOW! It was pretty while it lasted but we didn't get very much at all, just enough to cover the grass and deck.

This was the twins first snow. We got them out and took a quick picture while it was falling... Isn't it pretty?! Halle and Syd couldn't stand it, they just had to get out and throw a few snow balls once it had covered the deck. Notice their feet..... my mom will kill me!! LOL They weren't out long before they froze out! They had fun eating the snow and hitting each other with snow balls even if it wasn't a big snow!!! Maybe we will get some more this year or next year! :)

Christmas With Cogburn Family 2009

We celebrated Christmas with my dads family Christmas Eve at dinner. This side of my family is huge!! Most were able to attend and the girls always have a big time because Santa comes to see all the boys and girls at Big Grannys. Halle was the only one of my kids that sat on Santa's lap so she once again was my big girl hepler and told Santa what Syd, Carlee, and Kalee wanted! Syd gave her a thumbs up when she told him for her! So sweet.....

We draw names and the girls loved their gifts! Granny also got all the greats gifts that the girls have been enjoying.

This side is the only 5 generation we have remaining. When Halle was born we had 3 sets.

Christmas with Manasco Family 2009

We celebrated Christmas with my mom's side of the family Christmas Eve at lunch. The girls always have fun playing with their cousins. Christmas Eve is also my papaws birthday. He celebrated 83 years this year!! I love all the pics with the family... It is always interesting to get them to cooperate!!

The girls enjoyed the gifts... Halle a journal, Syd a Dora doll , and Carlee and Kalee opened little purses. The adults play dirty Santa and I came home with the gift I brought and Jeffrey brought home a step stool.

Garvan Woodland Gardens 2009

Last night after Jeffrey and I finished Christmas shopping for hours we loaded up Halle and Sydney and our nephew Landen and went to Garvan Woodland Gardens to see the spectacular lights!!

My mom and Rick as well as Aunt Joy and Mamaw went as well. Aunt Joy and Mamaw got there early so they thankfully bought our tickets so we avoided the crazy crazy lines!!!

We decided to leave Carlee and Kalee with Jeffrey's parents because they unfortunatley have decided to get car sick on rides any longer than to town and back plus the weather was a little cold!

Halle, Syd , and Landen had a blast looking at the lights! They were the best little posers as well. They would just randomly stop along the path and say, "Take a picture!" We all enjoyed hot chocolate, except Landen who is not a fan, at the end of our hour walk through the Gardens. I think their favorite spot was the waterfall but unfortunately it did not show up well in the pictures.

Afterwards we enjoyed eating at Chilis. The kids were awesome while we were eating due to a little threatening.... LOL! I've been telling the girls for days that if they aren't good I'm going to take a present away.... I'm so mean!! I'm going to have to come up with a new tactic after Christmas because it has been working! ;)

The Gift Of Giving

Thursday Halle's school had their annual Christmas program. This year the theme was The Gift Of Giving which ironically was what our lesson at church this morning!! Her music teacher is so awesome and the school couldn't ask for anyone any better!! She does a fantastic job every year with the kids. They learn so much from her!!

As always the kids did a wonderful job. Last year Halle and a few other girls had a special part singing. This year she and a few of them ballett danced along with a girl's solo. It really was so pretty!!! The girls looked just precious as you can see. Halle tried ballett when she was about Syd's age and that really wasn't her thing but she looked like a pro the other day as did the others!!

We enjoyed 2 performances that day as well as Halle's class party. Halle received several gifts from her friends this year. She really has a great group of friends!! She even got a gift from a boy this year which I still haven't informed her dad of yet! ;) He normally gets her a gift at Valentines but this I believe is the first Christmas gift..... so cute!!

It really is the season for giving.... I hope everyone enjoys the holidays!! It's just beginning and we have already packed in so much!! Love this time of year....

Dierks Christmas Parade 2009

All 4 girls enjoyed the Christmas Parade at Dierks. Several of their friends watched it with them. Thankfully there was plenty of candy to go around. Halle sang songs with her school after the parade and we were all cold by the time it was over!! However it was not quite as cold as it was last year!! Syd even sat on Santa's lap and talked to him a little after the parade!! She's getting brave! :)

Visiting Santa

We took the girls to see Santa on the square in Murfreesboro Saturday. Syd sat with him for the first time since the year she was born!! She would not talk to him but big sister Halle took care of her and told him what she wanted! Halle has always sat with Santa from year 1. It is so funny how they are different!!

I believe it is obvious from the picture what Carlee and Kalee thought of him! Poor babies are still young enough that I made them sit there for the picture... I know I'm terrible!! Halle took care of them too and told Santa what they wanted.

So I'm a little behind in blogging..... sorry!! This picture was taken the day of our last football game this year. Halle made the long trip with us to Junction City. Jeffrey and Tuttle called the game on the radio and did an awesome job so I was told!! Jeffrey filled in for Todd who was out of town that night.

Halle loves going to the games and already misses Friday night football games. She can't wait til she can cheer at the games. She has been doing awesome at gymnastics and Monday night she landed a round off with 3 yes 3 back handsprings!!!! I'm so proud!!!! She says she is working toward her goal.... Outlaw cheerleader, Razorback cheerleader, Cowboy cheerleader!! Can't wait to see her dreams come true!!!

Halloween 2009

We had a great evening trick or treating with the girls. Halle was a pirate, Sydney was a witch, and Carlee and Kalee were cats.

We started out at the church at a little party set up for the kids. They played games and ate lots of candy even though they had hot dogs too! :) Sydney won the best girls costume and Carlee won a game because she guessed closest to how much candy was in a bowl. I might have helped with that one. ;) The teenagers were dressed in costume as well to help with the party. Shrek, Kelly Brown, even made the event. Scared poor Carlee to death..... as did John Robert who was some scary something with his face all painted up. She would not let us put her down the entire time we were there. It did not bother Kalee at all. Halle got 2nd in the game of musical chairs which of course she was disappointed that she did not win but she was a good sport. It is always funny to see how strong some of those kids are fighting for a chair!! Too funny.... Thanks to all who helped with that. My kids really enjoyed it!

After we left the church we drove around to let the girls trick or treat family. We eventually parked and strolled the babies and let the big girls walk door to door for candy. Halle ended up ditching us for some of her friends we ran into that were moving a little faster than we were!! :) It is so fun in our little town! We ended up at a trunk or treat where the girls ate and visited with their friends. We headed home around 6:30 which ended up being perfect time before it got to cold on the babies. Everyone's bag was full and running over with candy!!!

Jerry had dinner cooked for us when we got home which was wonderful. The church teenagers came over on a scavenger hunt later in the evening and we built a fire and roasted marshmellows. Halle and Syd also attacked them with a few water balloons when they arrived!! FUN, FUN, FUN

It was the perfect evening to be out with the family! The girls were fast asleep around 9. LOL Halle was the first one. She fell asleep with her boots still on her feet! Thanks to everyone who gave the girls candy!

Syd Turns 4....WOW

The day of Syd's actual birthday we celebrated with a family dinner. Gran, Brandon, Pa, B, Stacey, Jordan, Lyndsey, Papa and Nana all came over for dinner. Syd picked grilled chicken , mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese for dinner. We called her birthday into the DeQueen radio station and some of her friends, Chandler and Kyndall, called it in to the Nashville radio station. She liked hearing her name on the radio. She was the big birthday winner for the day on Nashville's radio. She won 2 2liter drinks, a cake and ice cream from Charlies, and a balloon from Flowers by Johnny. Too bad the balloon popped before daddy got home with it... :(

We had a hard time convincing her that it was actually her birthday because she thought it was the day of her party! :) I guess most kids have a hard time with this. I saved a movie and a game for her Ninetendo DS for her to open and mom and Brandon brought her some smaller gifts too.

She did get to blow out the candles on this cake. The wind was blowing so much the day of her party, we just pretended she blew it out. ;)

Syd's 4th Birthday Party

We had Syd's 4th birthday party at our house. Thankfully it didn't rain and the kids were able to play outside. Most of her friends were able to be at her party. A few were sick and we missed them being there!!

We rented a bounce house which they loved. I thought they would play on the trampoline and swing set too but they mostly played in the bounce house. Devin, my cousin, supervised and kept them from getting hurt.

Syd loved all her presents. After she opened each gift she stopped to thank the person that gave it to her. Halle read her birthday cards to her as she opened her gifts. She loves drawing on the artist eisle we gave her. Halle and Syd have both drawn me some pretty pictures. Even daddy likes it!! ;) She is also proud to have her very own Ninetendo DS thanks to her Gran and Papa Rick. She no longer has to share with Halle. Brandon searched high and low for the "Snow White thingy" she asked for. We finally asked her enough questions to figure out which one she was talking about. Debbie took her to Wal- Mart for her to pick out her present from them. She informed Debbie that Pa and B were getting her a Strawberry Short Cake doll. Good thing Debbie took her so we knew that... LOL She really did love all her gifts and has played with each and every one she received. I think my personal favorite was the Brite Lite from her friend, Mackay. I had one as a kid but this one is new and improved with a flat screen!!! :) Syd and I have made several pictures with it.

The kids also enjoyed hitting at the spider pinata. They each had a turn to hit at it before we finally pulled his legs to make all the candy come out. Kids are so funny grabbing all the candy they can like they have never seen candy before in their life.

Syd had a great day with her friends at her 4th birthday party. Thanks to everyone who came and helped and made it such an awesome day for her!!

AR/ Ole Miss Game

My hubby and I made a quick trip to Oxford this weekend to witness a terrible game. We rode with Jeffrey's brother, Jeremy and his wife, Wendi. We left Friday afternoon and made it home late Saturday night. We had to get back for Syd's party yesterday. We stayed in Tunica Friday night which was fun. We played a few slot machines and finally broke even. LOL We aren't very big gamblers but it's fun! The next morning we were stuck in traffic going into Oxford so we missed a few minutes of the game. We got there right in time to witness them scoring their first TD.... UGH! Even though the HOGS lost, it was a fun weekend. Thanks mom and Debbie for keeping the girls!!! No one wants to keep all 4 of them...... Not sure why!! :)

Murfreesboro Homecoming

A couple of weeks ago the girls and I went to Murfreesboro's homecoming to see my nephew Landen. He was the little boy and so cute he was!!!! Of course the girls were sporting their OUTLAW uniforms!!!! We got a few looks but everyone knew we were only there to see Landen! We even had to witness the cheerleaders "killing" an Outlaw who BTW was not a horse but a cowgirl. Funny because Halle was like our mascot is not a girl..... LOL The babies were good and Halle and Syd had fun too. There was a parade after the ceremony. I didn't have a bag for the girls to put their candy in so we made due with the umbrella! LOL :) Teralee was there too to see her cousin Drew. She looked so cute in her tutu!

Sydney turns 4 the 27th. We are having her birthday party this weekend. She is so excited and can't wait to party! She finally decided on a Halloween witch theme after she went through all the ones she had already had, 1st-Princess, 2nd- Dora, and 3rd-Tinkerbell. LOL She is going to be a witch for Halloween so I guess that was on her mind. I thought the invitations turned out so cute though!

Twin Fun

Last night Carlee and Kalee decided to make a mess in the kitchen. They love to get in this cabinet and pull out all the tea pitchers and cups that are under here. I had been telling them no no every time they tried to get in the cabinet but Jeffrey let them in it one night and ever since it has become a nightly treat for them to pull out everything from this cabinet! :) They sure enjoy it and there is nothing breakable or anything in this cabinet to hurt them. It was just funny last night because Carlee decided she was going to get IN the cabinet. Kalee was enjoying playing with everything Carlee pulled out!!!

In My 30 Years.....

So as most of you know, I turned the big 30 earlier this month! At first it hurt, but then I realized how truly blessed I have been in my short 30 years.......

First I was born into a wonderful family. My mom, dad , and brother are the best. My mom is always there for me with a helping hand. She keeps my girls and me, for that matter, in clothes! She is right there whenever I call her for help. My dad is still my daddy. He still checks on me when storms are rolling in, calls to tell me to watch for deer when he knows I'm driving at night, and is truly wonderful with my girls! My brother is the best brother anyone could ask for. I am so proud of him and his accomplishments! Halle is just like him and I know that she will one day be a lawyer just like him!

I am also very fortunate to have my family live close to me. Most of my family including mom, dad, Brandon, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins live close. They are all blessings in my life.

I am married to a wonderful husband for almost 9 years now. He is a wonderful husband and an awesome father to my children. He puts up with me which is not an easy task!! He normally just agrees and does all I ask of him which is alot most days!! He is truly the best father to Halle, Syd, Carlee, and Kalee. I hope that each one of them find a husband like him! He is my best friend.

Speaking of friends.... I have some of the best! Jami who has been my friend since 4th grade is the best. We can read each others mind and can literally talk to each other without saying a word. I know I can depend on her always. Courtney and Casey, my hygiene, college friends are wonderful friends and mothers. They inspire me to be a better mother. Love you girls! Kelly, my gossip girl, is awesome. I probably text her more than anyone, typically several times a day. I enjoy just hanging with her and actually having adult conversations with her!

I have been blessed with the best children in the world! Halle is 7 going on 17. She gives me a run for my money everyday. She questions everything and doesn't want to be left out of any conversation. She is very independent, smart, beautiful, and amazing all rolled into one. Syd is so tender hearted. She gives the best compliments and notices the smallest changes in my wardrobe, make-up, hair, whatever. She is so thoughtful. She always puts others needs before her own. She is independent as well and beautiful. Carlee is my little drama queen. She screams or grunts whenever she wants something. She loves all her sisters and lights up when the big girls walk in the room. Kalee is my fiesty one. She likes to get in the bed with us around 4 every night for a little snuggle time. She typically pulls out all the toys before she starts playing with any. Being a mother to each one of them is the joy of my life! I can't explain how I feel when I walk in and the big girls come running to me for a hug and the little girls come to me with their arms reached up for me to get them....... the best feeling ever!

I also have been blessed with wonderful in-laws. Jerry and Debbie are two of the best in-laws one could ask for. They go above and beyond helping me raise my family. They are wonderful examples to look up to.

I have a great job. My 3 days a week is just perfect to get me out of the house. I love working for people and feel like I make a difference in my patients lives. I work with wonderful Christian people as well. I love them all like family. My job keeps me sane. I feel like it's the best of both worlds because I work for 3 days but then I'm also able to be with children the rest of the week.

I live in a wonderful town...... Smalltown USA. Love it and I always knew I would raise my family here.

I have a great church family as well. I love going to church to worship and praise God with some pretty inspiring people! I feel like each one of them would be there for me and my family in any circumstance.

People ask me all the time how I do it with 4 children..... My response is always the same.... FAMILY! I could not do it without any of you!

I hope my next 30 years blesses me as much as my first 30 has..........

Spirit Week 2009

Spirit Week 2009 was last week for the Elementary. Monday was Mismatch Sock Day, Tuesday was Twinkie Day, Wednesday was Red, White, Blue Day, Thursday was Western Day, and Friday was Blue/White Day. There is no picture for Thursday because that was the day we went to the doctor so Halle missed school. Thank goodness that was Western Day because we own not one thing western!! LOL She was twinkies with several of her friends who wore their cheer camp shirt. She had fun dressing up each day! How do you like the socks Uncle Brandon?! She calls her peace socks Uncle Brandon's socks because he got them for her for her birthday.......

You can clearly tell the day I decorated outside for fall.....LOL The girls love it! Halle named the scarecrow, SCARY...... Very original!

Carlee and Kalee Sleeping Apart From Each Other

Last night I finally did it.....I separated the babies! This is the first time that they have been separated from sleeping together at night since they were first born. When they were in the NICU, they had to be apart for the first few days because they had so much attached to them. After about a week they put them together and they have been that way at night until last night....... makes me cry.....And I did actually cry last night when I was looking at them apart!!

I moved the pack and play to their bedroom and put Carlee in the pack and play and Kalee in the baby bed. They slept great all night!!! I am very glad that it didn't bother them as much as it did me!!

As you can tell from the first picture it was time for them to sleep in different beds...... it was really getting crowded in their bed! Don't you just love the way they are laying the same way....

To The Doctor We Go.....Again

Jeffrey and I took all 4 girls to the doctor this morning. Carlee and Kalee for their 15 month check ups and flu shot and Halle and Syd got the flu mist. They prefer mist up nose instead of a shot. Hard choice for me....... LOL They just received seasonal flu vaccine for now cause H1N1 vaccine is still not available. Dr. Green said should be there late October. He is recommending that all 4 girls get the vaccine. Too bad for Halle and Syd but I'm afraid it is going to be a shot. Syd has appointment late October for her 4 year check up so I'm hoping it will work out that we can get it then. Syd has to have shots then anyway......already dreading that trip. We all were extremely cautious in doctor office to not touch anything and to use germ x on our way out. They had mask for all sick patients to wear so hopefully we walked away germ free!!!!

So on to the stats at 15 months..... Carlee weighed 24 lbs 9.5 oz 75%. She was 31 inches 70%.

Kalee weighed 24 lbs 12.5 oz 80%. She was 30 3/4 inches 65%.

I know I say this every time but who would believe they were preemies??!!!! Not only are the growing at a great rate but they are in the top %......AMAZING to me.

Both girls are still wearing size 3 diapers, have 5 teeth but are desperately trying to cut more, wear size 3 shoe(only thing that is not growing)LOL, eating lots of new things such as french fries and some meats, no more baby food. They love their sisters! They are on the go constantly, don't watch much t.v. They love it outside and are mad because we can't go out much in the evenings because the mosquitos are so bad right now. They say few words....mama, dada, hi, bye are just about it but at times will say nana. They can play peek-a-boo and patty cake. We have been working on finding their nose, ears, and such but so far no luck. :) They love to brush their teeth..... good girls. I'm so lucky that they are truly easy baby, big girls. God knew I needed good ones if He was going to bless me with twins!!!!!! Maybe we should try for that boy!!!........ JUST KIDDING, mom!;)

Afternoon With Church Youth

We went to the lake with the church again this past Sunday. It was a nice day to be outdoors. Halle again played volleyball and got a little more involved this time. She was even serving it over the net, getting a little closer to the net than the teenagers though. :) Syd mainly played on the playground and rode her bike. The little monkey climbed on everything. She also played with Judy and Mary building sand castles. Carlee and Kalee rode in their wagon and walked around exploring everything in site. :) Kalee attempted to play ball but wasn't so good..... Good thing is no black eye this trip!

The last picture I thought some of our readers would enjoy!! Can you tell who the "cone heads" are? LOL They will kill me!!!! :)

Cheer Camp 2009

Cheer camp was split into 2 seperate weeks this year due to the rainy weather recently. The second week of the season the girls cheered at the pep rally. They cheered at half last week during the Murfreesboro game. The new thing this year is the eye blacks. Halle has to have them every week now plus a tattoo. The eye blacks are $3 and 50 cents per tattoo. So I send $4 every Friday for tattoos!! The pic is so funny..... she would not smile for me. She said with eye blacks you were suppose to look mean, O my! I didn't get many pictures at the football game because I was video taping it. Halle did great but I'm sure she will be mortified some day! :)

The babies fell asleep during the game but enjoyed the band, cheerleaders, game, and people before they passed out. They were really good at the game. We had lots of people there to help pass them around to keep them occupied. Syd as always loves the pep rallies and games. She has still not warmed up to the mascot though. How cute is she in her little suit.....?! :)

Some of Halle's friends got together and put her up in a little pyramid. Love it......they even have an extra girl there for her spot. Go OUTLAWS!
