Halle had her awards ceremony last week. She received several awards and we were all so very proud of her. She received the Principal's Award for making all A's all year, the Spelling Award, the Reading Award, the Math Award, the Language Arts Award, the Social Studies Award, the Writing Award, and the PE Award. She also got a certificate for attending the Battle of the Books and another one for reading 100 books. Her class also gave awards to each other so everyone was able to receive something. Her friend, Savannah gave her the Good at Cheerleading Award. Halle gave her friend, Aubrey, the Funniest Award. It was really cute.
Thanks to all our family who were able to come see Halle receive her awards. Dad, Mom, Papaw, Nana, Mamaw, and JoJo were all able to make it. Of course, Jeffrey, Sydney, Carlee, Kalee, and I were all there as well. I think Halle had the most family present. :) However, Halle was mad at her Uncle Brandon for not making it. I think he is going to make up for it when he gives her the gift he bought her. LOL
Halle really enjoyed 1st grade and Ms. Kesterson as her teacher. She said that she would miss her but is looking forward to 2nd grade.
