Afternoon With Church Youth

We went to the lake with the church again this past Sunday. It was a nice day to be outdoors. Halle again played volleyball and got a little more involved this time. She was even serving it over the net, getting a little closer to the net than the teenagers though. :) Syd mainly played on the playground and rode her bike. The little monkey climbed on everything. She also played with Judy and Mary building sand castles. Carlee and Kalee rode in their wagon and walked around exploring everything in site. :) Kalee attempted to play ball but wasn't so good..... Good thing is no black eye this trip!
The last picture I thought some of our readers would enjoy!! Can you tell who the "cone heads" are? LOL They will kill me!!!! :)

Cheer Camp 2009

Cheer camp was split into 2 seperate weeks this year due to the rainy weather recently. The second week of the season the girls cheered at the pep rally. They cheered at half last week during the Murfreesboro game. The new thing this year is the eye blacks. Halle has to have them every week now plus a tattoo. The eye blacks are $3 and 50 cents per tattoo. So I send $4 every Friday for tattoos!! The pic is so funny..... she would not smile for me. She said with eye blacks you were suppose to look mean, O my! I didn't get many pictures at the football game because I was video taping it. Halle did great but I'm sure she will be mortified some day! :)

The babies fell asleep during the game but enjoyed the band, cheerleaders, game, and people before they passed out. They were really good at the game. We had lots of people there to help pass them around to keep them occupied. Syd as always loves the pep rallies and games. She has still not warmed up to the mascot though. How cute is she in her little suit.....?! :)
Some of Halle's friends got together and put her up in a little pyramid. Love it......they even have an extra girl there for her spot. Go OUTLAWS!

Life Of Syd

The life of Syd............ Syd has been to 3 birthday parties since my last post. This pic was taken at the park at Jacee's party. She also went to Chandler's party at the bowling alley and Savannah's party at Simple Simon's. Happy Birthday everyone....

Syd calling those Hogs last week. She got a new Razorback cheerleader suit and loves it. Unfortunately she didn't call them enough because they lost. :( She did look cute in her suit though.

This week the Outlaws played Murfreesboro. It was a good game with not a great outcome for the Outlaws. We lost 17 to 15. Syd had fun playing with her Uncle Brandon who was there to see Halle cheer at halftime with the Little Outlaw Cheerleaders. Will post pics of that next time.... Last week we played Hazen. It was at Hazen so Syd didn't make the trip. Halle went with Nana and Papaw. I checked her out at noon to go. She wouldn't dream of missing a game. :) We didn't win that one either...... Hang in there OUTLAWS!

Sweet Babies

O the life of the twins....... I was walking through the house the other day and found Kalee with a pacifier in her mouth and a pacifier in her hand. I was saving these for emergency only times but now they are in the trash! LOL She had a death grip on it and was not letting go. She did not pitch too big of a tantrum though when I took it from her. :)

Jeffrey was watching the girls today while I took Halle and Syd to a party. He walked in their room to find them pulling all their clothes out of their drawer. Yes, they do everything together. Where you find one the other one is not too far behind! I mean look at all those clothes.... I'm not sure how all those went in one drawer! :) Jeffrey sent the pic to my phone and I showed it to Halle and Syd. Syd said, "OOOOO, Daddy is in trouble." LOL Of course so not the twins fault. LOL When we got home Syd went straight to their room to make sure daddy had picked up the mess! And yes, he had. :)

Carlee and Kalee sleeping in the chair before we put them in bed the other night. Notice them touching each other. They still sleep together in a pack and play but are really too big to be both sleeping in it. I just can't split them up for some reason but know that I need to soon. Sweet babies with some rollie pollie legs...... We take them to the doctor for their 15 month check-up this coming week. I'm wondering what % they will be in this time.

Also they both have a new tooth. The same one of course, upper left lateral. This makes #5 for both. The upper right lateral in not too far behind. They are also both trying to cut their lower right molar. I've been rubbing medicine on it at night and giving them Tylenol at times.....poor babies! It only is a night time that they seem to really bother them though. The medicine works and they have still been sleeping well though.

Big Girl

Life of Halle the past week...... She lost yet another tooth. She has now lost a total of 6. 4 on the bottom and 2 on the top. She won't loose any more on the bottom for a few years but she still has 2 more to go on the top. I think Dr. Lance is going to have to help with those because they are not loose at all which means the permanent teeth have missed the roots of the baby teeth which we've noticed on her films. Anyway, the tooth fairy brough her $5. When she found the money she asked me if the tooth fairy really brought her the money or if her daddy and I gave it to her......! To which I replied, "If you don't believe in the tooth fairy the tooth fairy no longer brings money when you loose teeth." :) So she replied, "Oh, I believe, I believe!!! She also wanted to know if the tooth fairy brought her teeth back once she lost them all. I thought that was a good plan so I informed her that the tooth fairy did bring back the teeth..... She is getting very wise...... I just know the big question is coming regarding Christmas this year!
Halle also did a radio ad for our business, the Glass Shop and Overhead Door. Our 1 year anniversary is approaching so we are going to be doing a drawing for a flat screen t.v. in October. The ad runs during the classifieds weekdays between 9 and 10 in the morning. It was on for the first time Friday morning and she sounded great, not biased at all! :)
Halle has also been to 4 birthday parties since I've posted. She went to 1 at the park, a sleepover party, bowling, and 1 at Simple Simon's Pizza. Happy birthday Jacee, Maddi, Chandler, and Savannah.

Syd's First Day Of Gymnastics

Syd started taking gymnastics this past week. She was a little shy at first but eventually she warmed up to Miss Leah and she had a great time. I took her to Halle's class on Monday and she saw what the big girls were doing so I think she was afraid that she was going to have to start out at their level. :) She couldn't wait to get home to show Halle and everyone what she learned! I love her concentration in these photos and her tongue sticking out as she is doing the skills. We are proud of her too and know she will be flipping just like Halle in no time!!

Halle's Round Off Back Hand Spring

Halle has been taking gymnastics since she was 3. Last night she finally did her standing back hand spring and her round off back hand spring with no spot!! We are so proud of her!!

Taylor Swift Concert

Thursday Jeffrey and I took Halle and Sydney to the Taylor Swift concert. We ate at Joe's before the concert. Halle loves root beer out of the bottle as you can tell. Syd wasn't real sure about the colored chips at first but we finally convinced her that they tasted the same. :)
When I have more time I have tons of great pics to post. They had a blast and the concert was the best concert I have personally ever seen! Taylor sang for 2 hours straight. She sang every song on her albumn. Kellie Pickler and Gloriana were with her and they were both awesome as well. For those of you going to see her in Little Rock, I can promise you that you won't be disappointed!

Coco Found An Owl

This morning when Jeffrey was walking the babies down to Debbies he heard Coco barking like crazy down around some trees in the front of our house. Jeffrey was afraid she had a snake cornered because she goes crazy around snakes too. He went to see what she had found and discovered the owl. We finally got Jerry and Debbie's dog away from the owl but Coco would not leave it alone. Halle was so afraid that Coco was going to harm the owl and was very upset that she wouldn't stop barking. Syd was still in the bed so we will just have to show her the pictures. Carlee and Kalee couldn't figure out what was going on. They were just happy to be outside. Jerry finally put the owl in a bag with a shovel and moved it down the road so the dogs would leave it alone. We weren't sure if the owl was injured or was just a baby that couldn't fly yet. The little thing sure was cute though.

3 Birthday Parties In 1 Day

Saturday the girls had 3 birthday parties to attend. Fortunately they were at the park and at different times so we were able to attend all 3. They had fun but were tired by the end of the day. That night we cooked at Jerry and Debbie's and watched the Razorbacks win!! It was a fun day but Carlee and Kalee were ready for bed before the game was over so I took them to the house before the game was over so they could go to bed. I might have been a little tired myself.....
And yes Carlee's eye is still black! It was one week Sunday and it still looks black! It will not go away....

Jr High Game

Our Jr High played Fouke Thursday night. Unfortunately they lost. It was yucky down in the holler. It had rained most of the day so the track and field were wet. I made the girls were their rain boots. Halle ran around most of the night on the side lines with her dad so I was glad she had hers on. Syd stayed in the bleachers with me and her friends. Carlee and Kalee stayed with dad. He and Bev also kept them on Friday night. They took them out to eat at Kenya's and had a big time playing with them.

Go Outlaws!!

Our girls love football season. Halle was so excited that it was finally Friday so she could wear her new cheerleader suit. She got up early so we could glitter her face, dye her hair, and put on her tattoo. Halle really wanted to really dye her hair blue but thank goodness she was satisfied with spray on / wash out blue dye. She was so ready to go to school.
Syd was ready for Friday too. She had to have the glitter, hair dye, and tattoo as well. She looked so cute in her suit. She was really concerned why Carlee and Kalee didn't have a suit but I told her that they wouldn't be going to many games this year so I just had them some spirit pants made to wear to the pep rallies. They did look cute in their little pants. Debbie Stone did a great job making them. She is also making Halle and Syd some to wear to the Jr. High football games.
Halle, Syd and Carlee and Kalee had fun at the pep rally. Syd wasn't too big on the mascot and she even knows the girl who is the mascot. She is our preacher's daughter. It didn't matter Syd still wasn't having any part of it. Last season it took her a few games to warm up to her so maybe I can get some cute pictures later on in the season. Carlee and Kalee didn't mind but didn't get too close either. They all loved the band and danced to every song.
The Outlaws won Friday night against the Fouke Panters 32 to 0. Go Outlaws!! This week we play Redwater at home. It is cheer camp week so Halle will get to cheer at the pep rally and at halftime Friday night. She is really looking forward to it....

Pacifier Update

For a pacifier update I am proud to announce that our baby girls are pacifier free!!! It is so awesome not to have to worry about whether or not we got both pacifiers or where they are. They had gotten to where they would hide them in their toys. Carlee and Kalee have both gone without their pacifiers day and night since last Friday. I'm so excited! Now I guess the next big hurdle will be potty training but I guess we will wait a while for that one! :)

Outdoor Fun At Lake With Church

Carlee and Kalee loved playing on the slide at the lake on Sunday afternoon. We were there with our church youth group and young adults plus a few older ones who will remain nameless but know who you are.... LOL I love these pictures of them on the slide! Carlee is the leader surprisingly in the first picture. I think it's funny because it looks like Kalee is giving her a push. They enjoyed climbing up it better than sliding down. :)

Sydney enjoyed riding her bike and playing at the playground at the lake. Mr. Kelly, our preacher, also played with Syd. They played follow the foot prints in the sand.
LOL. Syd thinks she is so big being able to stand up and pump her pedals on her bike. I told her that is was about time that we took off her training wheels and taught her to ride without them. She said, Ummmm, maybe when I'm 5! :)
And this is what Halle did at the lake....... She thinks that she is as big as the teenagers so she played volleyball with them instead of playing at the playground or riding her bike. They were great with her and didn't run over her or seem to mind that she was out there. She had a great time and was very entertaining! She wouldn't let me take any more pictures of her. She said that is was too embarrassing.... o my!!

Carlee's Black Eye

So people always ask us how we tell Carlee and Kalee apart.... These days we say by the position of their bruises! :) Kalee has had a bruise on her cheek, and at the same time Carlee had one on her forehead. Who knows where or how they got them..... Sunday while we were at the lake Carlee fell and hit her eye on the big swing. Jeffrey, not me, LOL had them on the swing swinging them and she leaned over and hit her eye. It popped up immediately and looked horrible. It seems to be getting darker and darker everyday. Pictures just don't do it justice!

The general rule of thumb however of telling the girls apart is that Carlee has a mole/freckle on her back. I tell people it's a mole and Jeffrey says it's a freckle. LOL He says saying mole sounds so ugly and it's not! :) What's the difference anyway? Something to ponder for the week.... LOL
